How to travel in 2020

The morning I woke up, I thought to myself to book a holiday after the almost holiday I had in quarantine.  Something drew me closer to the Trip Advisor site, which was hidden under YouTube and Google for two months long.  I clicked it open and started checking an interesting destination, but a thought in the back of my mind was killing me: What if? What if I’ll get sick? So I thought writing a post to all of you who think that traveling in 2020/2021 can be fun.

From quarantine with Love…

Day 1 This morning I woke up happily that I finally could do what I always wanted to do.  Maybe sleep a lit bit more without snoozing the alarm or going out with friends.  But suddenly I remembered that everything was shut down.  That only hospitals, pharmacies and supermarkets were still opened.  The news started its day with the victims of the latest pandemics and I couldn’t enjoy anymore that cup of coffee.  I opened the laptop and saw a bunch of work that must be done and due in a couple of days maybe hours.  Universities and jobs went online, and companies like Zoom are promoting now their business.  An article on Forbes showed that, CEO Eric Yuan, is giving K-12 schools videoconferencing tools for free. https://www.forbes.com/sites/alexkonrad/2020/03/13/zoom-video-coronavirus-eric-yuan-schools/#47de110f4e71 Through it I understood that people do take advantage of others and still promote their business even when it’s crisis.  Because when everything is going to go again in its place, people will start paying money for that service, in order for them to become more prestigious than other schools.

Is Gen Alpha going to be more intelligent?

Computers, Smartphones or Tablets are known for us, the Gen Z, a way to help in our daily life.  We grew up with the internet, social media and less likely to go out to see a movie or spent time with our friends face-to-face.  We had information to our tips of our thumbs and we could, manipulated it as we wanted.  Like the Trump Ad elections scandal that happened through Facebook.  In principal, we are called the Facebook generation.  But how to distinguish the two generations?

Does Love changes us to be a better person?

We all have been enamored at least ones in our lifetime.  Maybe when we were a child or a young adult.  We had feeling for somebody and we couldn’t express them, because of being shy or fearing others opinion.  But as we grew up, we understood that others opinion doesn’t matter that much anymore, that being with the one we love is more important.  Love is like a wave that can’t be stopped.  We can’t choose when it will be, but we can choose who can it be.

Why classical books are unbeatable?

On the 12 March 2020 the second biggest Book fair in Germany, (Leipzig) will open and I thought of buying a ticket to this Event.  As I planned it in advance that I wanted to go there, I stopped in front of the shelf in my room and looked at all the book stacks that I created for the 2020 year ahead to read.  Starting from the Little Women, Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Pride and Prejudice till the top 100 books that must be read in a lifetime.  What could I choose now? To go to the book fair or to stay at home and read all the novels.
